What is a Life Group? At The Refinery Christian Church Sydney, we believe that Jesus’s methods are methods that we should follow. Jesus made meeting with people and being in intentional relationships with them a priority. It was life-on-life, face-to-face ministry. As a new church in the western suburbs of Sydney, one of our initial priorities is to meet people, make connections, and form Life Groups. Life Groups will meet in peoples’ homes and cafés, or whatever works best for the participants. Groups will take time to get to know each other; to share in the joys and challenge of life as they study God’s word and grow in relationship with each other and with Jesus. It may have been a few years since our last City 2 Surf, but it doesn't make us any less ready to strap the trainers on and give it a go on August 10th!
